My boys!

I have a friend that works at Kiddie Kandids and is trying to get certified so she needed to use my boys to help her out with this. Its totally lame that is shows Kiddie Kandids Proofs on it (I know I am not suppose to post them, but I couldn't help but want to share how cute they turned out) Jacee did a great job! I love them!!!

Alot of people say how much Corbin and Peyton look like brothers, but I dont see it at all! They are so oppisite to me. Peyton is so different as a baby then Corbin was. Corbin was a very cheerful, loved to be around everyone, very happy baby. Dont get me wrong Peyton is that way too, but he is alot more chill and relax. We had a hard time getting him to smile because he was just chillin, hanging out, wondering what was going on. He didn't like the feather duster thing they use to get them to smile. He would scream a high pitched scream everytime she took it out. Who would have thought a feather duster could make the parents laugh so hard! He also didn't like when she would get to loud and make funny noises. He wanted her to just smile at him and be calm. It was very interesting to see Peyton react to this situation. Its alot of fun to have oppisite boys. I am just glad they are both very happy and easy kids!

1 Year

Yesterday was exactly one year from the start of some crazy health issues! Last year on New Years eve me and my mom went shopping at the Layton Mall and while in Charlotte Russe I experienced my first Mini stroke, but at that time I did not know thats what it was. I had just found out I was pregnant 2 weeks previous and later found out that it was the cause of my mini strokes. After my first mini stroke I had another one a few weeks later at the doctors office during my first ultra sound with Peyton. There I found out that I had a possible hole in my heart. My OB doctor immediatly got me into a heart specialist in Salt Lake and they did tests and did find a whole in my heart about the size of a Quarter. They wanted to do surgery on it as soon as possible to prevent any more stroke and possibly a massive stroke but they had to wait until I was in my second trimest. During that time, I was in and out of the hospital ALOT! I never had a massive stroke, but I did have numerous mini strokes. When I was finally in my second trimester I was able to have the surgery. They went through an artery in my groin and inserted a device to close the hole. Because I was pregnant they did not want to put me out so I was able to watch everything that they were doing (which was very weird and kinda freaky) The surgery went very well and they told me if I hadn't taken care of it when I did, then I would have had a massive stroke durning Labor. I was very blessed to have caught this when I did. After the surgery it took about a month for me to stop having the mini strokes and migraines. 6 months after the surgery I went in for a check up and it had completely closed. They were surpirsed by how fast it closed because of the size of the hole. Again I feel very blessed through out the whole process.
Now that its all over and its officially been a year, I am excited to know that its all behind me. I did have a little anxiety over the last couple days just because again me and my mom were shopping at the Layton Mall on New Years eve, but it was comforting to know all was fine. Whenever I look at Peyton I cant help but think how he saved my life. The doctor told me 1 in 4 people have a hole in there heart and dont know about it until they have a massive stroke and eventually I would have had one and could have been severley handicapped, had this not all happened. I love Peyton so much! He is such a blessing in my life and such a sweet spirit. I cant believe how good of a baby he is. We joke that he is so calm and content because he was so drugged up on Morphine and all the other drugs they had me on during all this. Now that its a New Year, I am just hoping for a Health issue free year!
