We finally have internet!

Sorry its been a while. We tried to go with out internet for a couple months, but then I gave in. Pat's flying is picking up a little more now, with the good weather so he needs internet to check his flights. I guessI will give a little update on the past couple months. Like I said Pat is flying more now and we are hoping it stays that way. He is waiting to find out if Corner Stone is getting a bunch of chinese students in August. He should be finding out in a couple weeks. We are really hoping for this, cause this is where he would build the most hours. Corbin is doing good. He is definatly a momma's boy. Right now he is trying to learn the ABC song and Itsy Bitsy Spider. His favorite song on the radio is Poker face. Not to sure how that happened. I finally let him go up flying with Pat for the first time a couple weeks ago and he went again with his grandpa for his grandpa's birthday. He is a grandpa's boy too.

As far as I go, I am doing alot better. My heart seems to be healing correctly. The last check up was a month and a half ago and everything looked good. I go in for my last check up on May 21st. They have to do the same tests on me as they did when they were checking for the hole. If no bubbles or very few bubbles pass through to the other side then my heart has healed. At that point they will finally let me off the Lovenox shots. I have been giving myself those everyday twice a day since January. Actually Pat gives them to me but we are ready to be done with them.

As far as pregnancy goes everything seems ok there. We are excited to be having another boy. Poor Corbin is surrounded by girls! He needs a little guy to run around with. I have about 3 and a half more months, but if I have anything to say about it, I only have about 3 months. Well thats it for now. You will definatly be hearing alot more from me.

Broken Heart

So its been forever since I have posted anything, one because I dont have Internet at home and two because, well... I dont have internet at home. I figure I should post a little bit about my little condition I have. Last Wed. at our first doctors apointment, we were in the middle of an ultra sound, when all of a sudden the whole right side of me went numb and tingely and I started getting a migrane type head ache. I told my doctor how I was feeling and she got really concerned. She immediatly wanted me to book an appointment with a heart specialist. As we were setting up the appointment, I Lost my breath and almost stopped breathing. Once I was able to catch my breath, I started to lose my ablility to talk and remember things. Once i started doing this, I really freaked my doctor out so she sent me down to the ER. There they did an MRI and a EKG and found everything was ok. My doctor still wanted me to go see this heart specialist, so today I went down to Salt Lake to see him and there found out that I have a hole in my heart and I guess it is pretty bad! They said they grade people on a scale from 1 to 5 and I am a 5+. The doctor said what I had experianced during my OB visit was a mini stroke. He said it is caused by the whole in my heart and if its not fixed i will end up having a major stroke. The bad thing about all this, is that I am pregnant. To fix the hole they have to do surgery which means some radiation is envolved. They have done this procedure on many pregnant women but hate to do it. I cant have the procedure though, until I am in my second trimester. Which means I have to wait about a month before I can get it done. I have an apointment scheduled February 26th. I have to be very careful between now and then and take baby Asprin to try and keep me from having another mini stroke or even a major stroke. We are pretty overwhelmed right now. I am just hoping through all this that the baby is ok. The doctor also said if I dont fix this before the baby is born then I have a HIGH chance of having a stroke during labor. They said that i have actually had this hole since I was born and 1 out of 4 people have it. Its all pretty crazy! I know! Oh and to top off all the bad news, I found out that my work (Rotech) is giving everybody a 5% pay cut. So not only am I having this way expensive procedure, I now dont have the money to pay for it. Dont worry though I am staying positive about this and applying for all the finacial aid I can get. I will try and to keep the blog updated.

Halloween 2008

We had lots of fun trick or treating this year with Corbin. He was running from door to door with his cousins and being polite saying "Thanks You" It was alot more enjoyable. We also went to Tiffany's wards trunk or treat with her. As you can tell Corbin was a Monkey, I was a Mouse and I MADE Pat be a Nerd. He was a pretty hot nerd! I was pretty disappointed though in Corbin's candy bag... there wasn't any good candy that I like. I guess thats a good thing.

Corbin is 2 now!

Well Corbin is 2 now, I am not to happy about it either. That just means 1. My baby boy is growing up and 2.Its time for terrible 2's! I have already started to see it too. His birthday went well though. I took the day off, so we went to IHOP for breakfast (more for me and Pat) We came back and Tiff came over and helped clean and decorate and get things ready for his Birthday party. Then at 1:00 my mom came and picked them all up and they took Corbin to Chucky Cheese, while me and Pat stayed behind and did a makeover on Corbin's room. Before it was all baby stuff, he was still in a crib, his changing table was still in there, he was still playing with baby toys, so me and Pat decided for our present we would make over his room into a big boy room. We Bought a big boy bed, boxed up all his baby toys, put up wall paper and wall decals and lots of other fun thins. After we finished with that, we met up with everyone at Chucky Cheese and played for a while. Then we had cake and Ice cream at 6:30 with family and friends. He got so much! I am tempted to take a few toys away and rap them for Christmas. Thats mean, I know. Anyways everything went well. Corbin is very happy with everything he got!
